Not All Madison Condos Websites are Created Equal

The National Association of Realtors reports that over 90% of all real estate searches begin on the internet. While we would certainly like to have 90% of those searches begin on our website we are happy to be able to provide our ever-growing numbers of visitors with a 100% positive experience.

You have probably already discovered that some websites fail to deliver the experience you need and deserve. They present you with complicated structures, confusing tools, slow load times and formats that don't readily transfer to all your devices. You have probably seen some websites that are hard to read and equally hard to use. At Nelson & Associates Realtors, we understand that your time is precious. We get that you need to be able to search when and where you are at and with what ever device you have handy. But most importantly, you want to have accurate results.man puzzled over Zillow and Trulia results

If you have tried some of the big consolidation websites like Zillow and Trulia (now owned by the same company) you have most likely already found inaccurate information as well as homes and condos that have already been sold or that are no longer on the market. You have probably also seen their one-size-fits-all tools that in reality don't fit any specific property very well. These problems exist because these sites rely heavily on secondhand and agent-supplied information rather than a direct connection to the MLS. Brokers and real estate agents rely on the MLS for accurate, timely and up-to-date information and now you can too. True, Zillow and Trulia tend to dominate the search results as a result of heavy advertising, massive back-link campaigns, crafty SEO and giving the impression that they have their finger on the pulse of the real estate market. But the real "fingers on the pulse" are the MLS member brokers like Nelson & Associates Realtors, the broker behind the services provided here by JustMadisonCondos.com.

Jon Nelson Madison Condos BrokerThe difference is this: because Nelson & Associates Realtors is a member broker of the South Central Wisconsin MLS, we have a direct link to the MLS database. That keeps our listings fresh and updated multiple times a day. What this means to you is timely information delivered directly to your device. So the choice is yours: Generalized, Indiscriminate Mass-Market Hoopla or finding your condo with a Madison Area Broker who actually knows the market.

Employers in Madison

The largest employer in the Madison Region is the Wisconsin State Government. The next largest is the University of Wisconsin, whose Madison campus is the flagship campus of the University of Wisconsin system. And the third is University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, an important teaching hospital and regional trauma center. Both of course are technically also state employees. This state employment influence helps account for Madison’s stable employment base and reasonably stable housing market. Steadily catching up though is Madison’s growing high-tech and consumer services sectors. Because nearly half of Madison’s population over the age of 25 has at least a bachelor’s degree this makes for a very attractive employment pool for the region’s business base.
